Three children drown in neglected watercourse.

KARACHI -- In a heartbreaking incident, a watercourse near Tessar Town claimed the lives of three young children. The victims, two brothers aged seven and eight, and their 12-year-old neighbour, were engaged in play near the watercourse when an unfortunate slip led to their tragic drowning.

The parents of the children are now grappling with grief while also expressing their disappointment in the lack of safety measures taken by the government. Despite previous drowning incidents in the same watercourse, authorities have failed to implement necessary precautions, according to the families. This negligence has resulted in the devastating loss of innocent lives.

The unfortunate incident occurred on Sunday in Tesser Town Sector 36 of the Surjani Town police station. Sanaullah, aged 12, Samir, aged 7, and Abdul Jabbar, aged 8, all fell victim to the watercourse's treacherous depths. Sanaullah and Samir were siblings, while Abdul Jabbar lived nearby.
