Sindh CM pays surprise visit to Mahar Medical Hospital.

Caretaker Sindh Chief Minister Former Justice Maqbool Baqar on Tuesday during his surprise visit to Government Ghulam Muhammad Mahar Medical College Hospital (GGMMCH) Sukkur interacted with the patients in the emergency and surgical wards. He witnessed the condition of the hospital, the pharmacy, the kitchen, and the washrooms and issued necessary directives for improvements.

The caretaker was received by Medical Superintendent, Prof Dr Altaf Awan and they both visited the Emergency. The MS Dr Awan told the CM that on average 100 patients visit the emergency every day. The Caretaker CM went from bed to bed in the Emergency, interacted with the patients and most of them showed non-satisfaction over the provision of medicines, lab tests, and timely care.
