Islamabad -- Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on Overseas Pakistanis Syed Zulfiqar Abbas Bukhari has rejected the British media reports as baseless and misleading which claimed that the UK has imported half of coronavirus cases from Pakistan.

In a statement, he said the pandemic hit the UK in start of February, while it reached Pakistan by end of the same month. He said there was not even a single case of coronavirus in Pakistan before it was reported in the United Kingdom.
