Policeman hurt in Charsadda attack.

CHARSADDA -- A policeman sustained injuries when two persons opened fire at him here on Sunday, the district police chief said.

Mohammad Arif said the injured cop was his gunman, Mohammad Bilal. He said the two attackers were also injured and arrested, but one of them escaped from the hospital.

DPO Arif said a case had been registered with the Counter Terrorism Department, adding a search operation was launched to arrest the fleeing attacker.

Meanwhile, a woman was killed and her daughter narrowly escaped after they came under attack in Sardheri area.
