Pakistan's economy got 20 bln dollars from GSP plus status, says Governor.
MULTAN: Pakistan got GSP plus status after facing various challenges which benefited 20 billion dollars to the country's economy. Governor Punjab Chaudhary Muhammad Sarwar expressed these views while addressing the second convocation of Muhammad Nawaz Sharif University of Agriculture (MNSUA) on Wednesday.
He disclosed that despite the bitter opposition from India and Bangladesh, Pakistan managed to win the status in 2013 and will be intacted by 2023.
"GSP plus status was a big challenge for Pakistan" for which I had to work very hard.
