NCWE announces international women entrepreneur visitor programme for Pakistan.

Islamabad: National Centre for Women Entrepreneurship (NCWE), a non-profit organisation in the US, has announced International Women Entrepreneur Visitor Programme for Pakistan. In connection with the International Women's day that is celebrated worldwide on March 8, NCWE is going to launch Micro-lending Fund for Women Entrepreneurs.

On March 7, a ceremony would be organized in Washington, US, in which Shirley Supik, Director NCEW, USA and Uzma Raja, Country head of Pakistan chapter, will sign the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in this regard.Shirley Supik, Director NCWE told the scribe that the Programme was being offered for the women of emerging economies and Pakistan is one of them. She told that initial target of 50million USD has been set for Micro-lending Fund. She said that the aim of this Programme is to train women for self-support.
