National Security Committee meeting chaired by premier underway.

ISLAMABAD -- The National Security Committee (NSC) meeting summoned by Prime Minister Imran Khan is underway at the Prime Minister House, Express News reported on Thursday.

The session is being attended by cabinet members including Finance Minister Asad Umar, Defence Minister Pervez Khattak, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Minister of State for Interior Shaharyar Afridi. Intelligence officials, service chiefs and other officials are also present at the high-powered huddle.

NA approves parliamentary committees on national security, CPEC

The committee will deliberate on Indian spy Kulbhushan Jadhav's case at the International Court of Justice and discuss the developments in the trial, as well as arguments presented by India.
