(National): Pakistan reiterates strong condemnation of Israeli airstrikes, military action in Gaza.

ISLAMABAD -- At the UN Security Council meeting on the situation in Middle East, Pakistan has reiterated its strong condemnation of Israeli airstrikes and military action in Gaza.

In his remarks, Pakistan's Permanent Representative to the UN Munir Akram said the Israeli attacks on civilians, civilian objects and infrastructure, blockade of water, food and fuel as well as the forced transfer of people from the occupied territory, are flagrant violations of international humanitarian law and amount to war crimes, according to a Radio Pakistan's report.
