(METROPOLITAN) CM Naqvi okays construction of another cardiac hospital in Lahore.

LAHORE -- Taking notice of the issues confronting patients and their attendants at Lahore's Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC) due to overcrowding, Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Syed Mohsin Naqvi on Wednesday approved the construction of yet another large hospital for heart patients in the city.

Now Jinnah Institute of Cardiology will be built on the site reserved for the construction of Jinnah Hospital's Emergency and Trauma Center adjacent to the Jinnah Hospital. As per instructions the CM gave during his visit to the project site, the center will now be housed in the Jinnah Hospital.
