Man ends his life over unbearable toothache.

Driven to despair by the delays in treatment, a man suffering from 'excruciating toothache' took his own life, reported The Daily Mail.

38-year-old Anthony Hoskins from Southampton, England, was on the waiting list of the National Health Service (NHS) to have his wisdom tooth removed.

In a statement released by the police, Anthony's mother said her son first complained of severe toothache in January this year.

However, his condition continued to deteriorate to the point where he resorted to self-medication, consuming large amounts of painkillers such as paracetamol and ibuprofen.
