Husband commits suicide after wife 'misses deadline'.

RAWALPINDI -- A man committed suicide, ending a martial dispute in the remits of Rawat police station.

According to police, Jameel's wife had gone to her parents' house and was not coming back despite many requests and wooing.

Disgruntled, Jameel gave his wife an ultimatum and threatened to kill himself if she did not come back on a given day. He then did so when she did not return on the day of the deadline.

Rawat police said Jameel was married four years ago and had a three-year-old daughter. The husband and wife had exchanged harsh words after which the latter had left for her parent's house.
