High-powered selection board meets today for promotion to BPS-22.

Islamabad: imranA high-powered selection board under the chair of Prime Minister Imran Khan will meet today for promotion of officers to BPS-22.

According to sources, officers will be given Grade 22 promotions on 22 posts of the Pakistan Administrative Service, Police Service of Pakistan, Audit and Accounts Service, Information Group and Foreign Service of Pakistan.

According to sources, the high-powered selection board will also approve postings in federal bureaucracy along with new promotions during the meeting

With the addition of three posts in the Police Service of Pakistan with the approval of the Prime Minister, a total of 13 posts of grade 22 have been upgraded by upgrading the rank of IG Railway, Commandant Frontier Constabulary and MD National Police Bureau to Grade 22. Eleven vacancies of the Pakistan Administrative Service, five of the Police Service of Pakistan, three from the Foreign Service of Pakistan, two from Audit and Accounts Service and one from Information Service will be considered in the High Powered Selection Board For the promotion in Grade 22, the postal group and the Railway group have one vacancy but will not be included in the agenda because there are no eligible officers for the Grade 22. The vacancies in Pakistan Customs Service, Inland Revenue, Commerce and Trade Group, Economist Group and Military Land Cantonment Group will not be considered in the meeting due to non-availability of the vacancies in these groups.
