Foolproof security plan devised to maintain peace during 9th Muharram.

Hazara Police has chalked out a security plan for 9th Muharram and will depute more than 4000 police officers and officials to maintain peace during Muharram, says DIG Hazara Mirwais Niaz. Security is being made high alert, district and regional security control rooms have been established to be directly monitored by the respective DPOs and DIG Hazara and air surveillance of procession routes will be done with CCTV cameras, body war cameras and drone cameras to be used on the day of processions, said DIG Hazara.

Deputy Inspector General of Police Hazara Region Mirwais said that the month of Muharram is very important for the police in terms of security, especially from 1st of Muharram to 11th of Muharram and entire police force is put on high alert. Like every time, Hazara police has taken important steps to strengthen the security of Muharram.
