Federal Minister Stresses Importance of World AIDS Day and Commitment to Halting HIV Outbreaks.

In light of the approaching World AIDS Day on 1st December, Federal Health Minister Dr. Nadeem Jan held a meeting to discuss strategies and emphasize the importance of preventing HIV outbreaks. The minister highlighted the significance of promoting awareness and medical interventions to prevent transmission risks, referencing past outbreaks in Pakistan to underscore the urgency of proactive measures.

According to a news release by Press Information Department (PID), the meeting convened various notable health representatives, including Dr. Baseer Khan Achakzai, along with members from the Common Management Unit, APLHIV, UNAIDS, UNICEF, UNDP, UNFPA, and WHO.
