Distribution of free wheat flour begins in Attock.

TAXILA -- Deputy Commissioner Attock Rao Atif Raza has said under the special Ramazan relief package over 0.2 million households will get free flour in all the six tehsils of the district in Ramazan.

Talking to reporters at a flour distribution point in Fatehjang on Monday, he said 56 utility stores and 19 trucking points had been designated for the distribution of the free flour while six points fixed for Punjab Social Protection Authority. He said the government was making efforts to reduce the difficulties faced by the low and middle income groups particularly in Ramzan.

He said in order to avoid any inconvenience, people have been asked to check their eligibility for the free flour by sending an SMS containing their CNIC number to 8717 helpline of the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) as the data has been linked with the BISP.
