Customs Enforcement Quetta seizes smuggled goods worth Rs2.7bn during the last 45 days.

QUETTA -- Collectorate of Customs Enforcement Quetta is successfully conducting anti-smuggling operations in line with the directives of the Federal Government. The performance in the last 45-days resulted in the seizure of smuggled goods worth 2.7 billion in 278 successful operations, says a Press release. This extensive exercise involved seizures of a variety of smuggled items, including drugs, Iranian diesel, chalia, gutka, dry milk, non-customs paid vehicles, cosmetics, plastic grains, electronics and outward smuggling of essential items like sugar, fertilizer etc.

These seizures were carried out in at various checkpoints, godowns, and other locations. Under the vigilant supervision of Collector Mohammad Ismail and the dedicated guidance of Additional Collector Omar Shafique, as well as the relentless efforts of field enforcement units and mobile squads led by Deputy Collectors (DCs) and Assistant Collectors (ACs), these operations were executed successfully.
