Court directs NAB to ensure witness's presence.

KARACHI -- An accountability court directed on Saturday officials of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to ensure the presence of the witness in the Rs5.76 billion corruption reference in information department at the next hearing on April 13.

Former provincial minister for information, Sharjeel Inam Memon, Inam Akbar and other accused were produced before the court by the jail officials. NAB's witness, Ali Gohar Sheikh, however, did not appear before the court. The counsel for the accused was scheduled to cross question the statement by the witness.
