In occupied Kashmir, the Kashmir Career Counselling Association (KCCA) has expressed concern over continued attacks and harassment being faced by Kashmiri students studying in colleges and universities of India. KCCA spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar urged the India Government to ensure the safety and security of the Kashmiri students enrolled in different colleges and universities of India.

He deplored that soon after the February 14 Pulwama blast, Kashmiris have been attacked and beaten in different parts of India. At numerous places, the Kashmiris pursuing educational courses or doing business were threatened of dire consequences if they didn't return to Kashmir, he added. Meanwhile, the traders assembled at Hari Singh High Street in Srinagar and held a protest march to condemn the attacks on Kashmiris.

Shiv Kumar from West Bengal, who has been working as a labourer in Kashmir for the past 15 years and was part of the protest march, said: "In Kashmir, we have always found every Kashmiri Muslim extending support to us.
