CJ takes notice after minor girl disappears from Larkana.

LARKANA -- Chief Justice of Sindh High Court has taken notice of disappearance of an eight-year-old girl and summoned Senior Superintendent of Police Larkana along with investigation officer of the girl's disappearance case to submit report to the court in person on March 22.

According to a letter sent to the SSP by registrar of SHC principal seat on March 18, the CJ took notice of the news story published in a Sindhi daily about Naveela Khuhawar who had disappeared near Daya Chowk in Allahabd locality in the jurisdiction of Allahabad police station on Oct 12, 2022, said sources on Monday.

The officers were also asked to bring with them the report on the case on the day they were summoned.

The parents had reported the matter to the police station concerned and since then the parents and relatives of the missing girl had been protesting from time to time outside local press club and demanding early recovery of their loved one as they were disappointed in police.

In another case, heirs of Ali Ahmed Brohi, who was reportedly kidnapped at a bus terminal opposite Police Training School in Larkana on Dec 27, 2022, protested outside local press club on Monday and demanded his early and safe recovery.
