Call for convening Senate meeting on Gaza.
ISLAMABAD -- Leader of the House in Senate Ishaq Dar has requested Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani to convene an upper house of parliament meeting on the situation in Gaza.
According to a letter sent by Dar to Sanjrani on Friday, 'The situation in Palestine has been very bad for the last 10 days as thousands of civilians have been martyred.'
Dar said in the letter that a large number of Palestinians were also seriously injured by Israeli bombing.
