Balochistan govt declares 'all-out war' viz terrorists amid rising unrest.

ISLAMABAD -- CaretakerBalochistan InformationMinister Jan Achakzai onSunday expressed his unwa vering determination ofgoing all-out against terror ists and waging a war againstthose involved in sabotagingthe peace of the province.During a press conferenceheld in Quetta, the ministerlauded the Chief of ArmyStaff's (COAS) dedication tothe fight against terror andemphasised the joint effortsof provincial and federalgovernments in counteringextremism and terrorism.Achakzai disclosed thatauthorities had recovered theremains of the suicidebomber responsible for thetragic incident during the 12Rabiul Awwal procession inMastung on Friday.

The death toll now stands at 60,including religious leadersand children, along with apolice officer.He identified the perpetra tor of the Mastung terroristattack as a young individualaged between 15 and 18. Hefirmly stated thatBalochistan had no place forterrorism and assured thatthe state was fully aware ofthe culprits and facilitatorsbehind the incident, pledgingswift justice.

In a gesture of support forthe victims' families,Achakzai announced com pensation of Rs1.5 millionfor each martyr's heirs andassured compensation forthe injured. He directed thehealth department to ensurethe provision of the bestmedical treatment to thoseaffected by the blast.
