Abbottabad -- Former senior minister of NWFP and founder of Tehrik-e- Suba Hazara Movement Tehrik, Sardar Haider Zaman Khan, passed away on Wednesday after a prolonged illness; he was 82 family sources told.

As per details, Baba Haider Zaman Khan, 82, had been admitted in a hospital in Islamabad due to his deteriorating health condition. He was born in 1936 at Galiyat area of top tourists summer resort of Pakistan and served as a provincial minister, District Nazim as well as Chairman district council, Abbottabad.

He earned recognition in 2010, when he started movement for separate Hazara province.
