299 petitions filed after 2018 general elections: ECP.

ISLAMABAD: ECPThe Election Commission of Pakistan has said that as many 299 petitions were filed with the commission after the 2018 general elections.

According to a statement issued by the ECP, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) topped the list of those political parties who filed the most complains of rigging in the 2018 elections. According to the statement, PTI is at the top among the complainants of fraud, PML-N is at the second position and PPP is at the third position. A total of 299 election petitions were filed in the Election Commission. The highest number of complaints of fraud was lodged by the ruling party PTI, as it complained of fraud in 23 constituencies of the National Assembly and 53 constituencies of the provincial assemblies.
