Wrestling competition held at SAU.

TANDOJAM -- Wrestling competitions in the Talent Hunt Youth Sports League, hosted by Sindh Agricultural University (SAU) and in collaboration with the Higher Education Commission, have started at the University Sports Complex.

The Sindh Region Wrestling event was inaugurated by Dr Fateh Marri, Vice Chancellor SAU, Nadeem-ur-Rehman Memon, Divisional Commissioner Hyderabad, Muhammad Daud Pirzada, Additional Commissioner, Pakistan Customs, and Col. Salman Rasheed Wing Commander of Pakistan Rangers. Players from Karachi, Larkana, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Jacobabad and Shaheed Benazirabad are participating in these competitions.

Addressing the occasion, Vice Chancellor Dr. Fateh Marri said that sports programs are being organized in collaboration with the Higher Education Commission, The successful players from here will be included in the provincial team, who will later take part in competitions at the national level.

Hyderabad Commissioner Nadeem-ur-Rehman Memon said that the Sindh Agriculture University was giving much importance to indoor games besides promoting ground games, It is hoped that the winning youth will represent the country in sports.
