Women's rights under the Taliban.

The Taliban's recent proclamation to provide women rights looks dubious. According to a recent report, when the Taliban were seizing the territories from Afghan forces, the fighters walked into a bank (Azizi bank) in the southern city of Kandahar and ordered nine women working there to leave. The Taliban pose an unpleasant picture for women in Afghanistan.

They had subjugated women from their rule in the 1990s and such behaviours are still innate in them and their teachings. Their advancement has left the world in chaos, and it might foster further human and especially women rights violations. The woman's rights to education, sports, economics and nation-building look like a far cry under the Taliban's regime.

There is no denying the fact that, till now Taliban have behaved softly towards women and all the Afghans regarding their basic rights, but these are their tactics to gain full control...
