SU webinar urges youth to excel in professional life.

HYDERABAD -- Speakers at a webinar organised by Sindh University (SU) have termed the youth as ambassadors of international peace and catalysts for global change.

Hardly any success could be attained in the world without the youth, they said and cited the examples of the Arab Spring and social media trends as evidences of it.

The webinar was held on Monday and chaired by Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Fateh Mohammad Burfat. Speakers included Mohammad Shabir Anwar, chief executive officer of the Pakistan Peace Collective; Nazir Hussain, former additional secretary ministry of foreign affairs; Dr Shuja Mahesar, director of SU Pakistan Study Centre, and Prof Dr Azhar Ali Shah, focal person of the SU campus, Larkana.

'We cannot chart paths of progress without gaining command in the latest fields of knowledge through quality education and research. This has been my motto from day one as VC. I have always taken punctilious efforts to ensure best possible education in the most innovative ways possible,' said the VC.
