Wasim inspects lying of sewerage line in Orangi.

KARACHI -- Mayor Karachi Wasim has said that Orangi Town is katchi abadi and its problems are also huge.

Major problems are of sewerage and waer which though did not directly pertained to KMC however still we solved the sewerage problem by lying a sewerage line costing millions of rupees.

He said this while speaking in a ceremony held in the Mansoor Nagar UC 24 of Orangi Town after inspecting the lying of 18 inch dia sewerage pipeline in the area. MPA Sadaqat Hussain, chairman district West Izhar Ahmed Khan, UC Chairman Shakeel Ahmed Imam and others also spoke on this occasion and said that sewerage problems of more than five UCs of Orangi were now solved with the lying of this pipeline. However in past no attention was given to the problems of Orangi which have big population and the Mayor Wasim Akhtar has won the hearts of people by doing this work in Orangi Town.

Women were also present in big number in this ceremony who complained about unavailability of water and sewerage problems facing by them.
