Wasa suspends tubewell operator.

RAWALPINDI -- Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) on Thursday suspended tube well operator and helper for being absent from duty.

The authority chalked out a plan to provide water to the residents of the garrison city in view of hot weather and electricity load shedding.

In a meeting, Wasa Managing Director Mohammad Tanveer directed the department concerned to adjust the time of tube wells keeping in view the electricity load shedding. He also asked to extend the duration of tube wells in electricity load shedding areas.
