U.S. stocks higher at close of trade.

U.S. stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Oil and Gas, Financials and Consumer Goods sectors led shares higher. At the close in NYSE, the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.98 percent, while the SandP 500 index gained 1.30 percent, and the NASDAQ Composite index added 1.58 percent.
