Turkish assembly speaker expresses grief over plane crash.

ISLAMABAD -- Speaker of Grand National Assembly of Turkey Mustafa Sentop called the National Assembly speaker to wish him Eid greetings and offer his condolences over the loss of lives in the passenger plane crash in Karachi.

He prayed for the departed souls and extended his heartfelt condolences to the people of Pakistan, says a statement issued by the National Assembly of Pakistan.

He said the prayers and wishes of the people of the Republic of Turkey go all the way to the bereaved families.

He also inquired after the health of NA Speaker Asad Qaiser and his family and congratulated them for recovering from the disease.
