TTP terrorist killed in Lakki raid.

DERA ISMAIL KHAN -- A terrorist of the banned Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan was killed by security forces and police in a joint operation in Abdulkhel area of Darra Pezu town in Lakki Marwat district on Monday night.

A police official said the action was taken on a tip-off about the presence of terrorists in rural mountainous area and commandos of the counter-terrorism department participated in it. He said the armed terrorists attacked law-enforcement personnel near their hideout.

The official said law-enforcement personnel retaliated and killed terrorist Irshad, a resident of Manjiwala area.

He said the terrorist was wanted by the police in several terrorism-related cases.

He said the law-enforcement personnel seized weapons, ammunition and hand grenades and registered a case.
