Tree cutting banned in North Waziristan.

MIRANSHAH -- Deputy Commissioner North Waziristan tribal district Sahibzada Najeebullah has imposed ban on tree cutting, transportation, use of saw machine and other related acts under Section-144. The field staff has been directed to take strict action if anyone was found involved in violating the order. The district administration has also appealed to the general public to fully cooperate in the implementation of the ban. The people have been requested to inform the district administration in case they notice any violation of tree cutting ban. Plantation campaign in Mohmand Secretary Forest Department Shahidullah Khan on Monday inaugurated the plantation campaing under the 10 Billion Tree Tsunami program of the government in Mohmand tribal district.
