TRAFFIC mess in Lahore is witnessed daily by commuters on Gagumata stop at Ferozepur Road and Tokhar Niaz Baig. On both critical points, the magnitude of the traffic mess is unprecedented.

It is difficult to understand the reason for such poor traffic control despite having traffic wardens deputed there. In fact, seven to 10 roads and streets converge on these places, and motorists, cyclists and pedestrians blatantly violate the one-way traffic rule.
