Top officials among 17 involved in illegal land sale.

KASUR -- The Anti-Corruption Establishment Kasur on Wednesday registered a case against 17 people including former deputy commissioner and an additional deputy commissioner on the allegation of illegal allotment of state commercial land worth over Rs600 million to private persons.

According to complainant Muhammad Azam who is circle officer ACE Kasur, former DC Rana Muhammad Arshad, ADCR Dr Muhammad Mansoor and head clerk Qaisar Najam Shah illegally allotted state land within prohibited zone to 14 private people including Muhammad Aslam, Ghulam Fatima, Khursheed Begum, Muhammad Javid and Naseem Maqbool.
