The Countries Dominating the Europa League.

Thanks largely to Sevilla's six wins since their maiden victory in the 2005/06 tournament, Spain is quite comfortably the most successful country in the Europa League - or the UEFA Cup as it was called from 1971/72 to 2008/09. The trophy has been brought back to Spain a total of 13 times in the competition's history. Aside from Sevilla, Atletico have also won it three times and they are joined by Real Madrid (2), Villareal (1) and Valencia (1).

The country's total won't be changing this season, but its place at the top of the list is also in no danger. This year's final will be played between Germany's Eintracht Frankfurt and Scotland's Rangers. Frankfurt have one win to their name from 1979/80 - accounting for a sixth of Germany's total. Rangers getting their hands on the trophy come May 18 however...
