Support Ya.oyunchimeg in Her Fight Against Cancer

A fundraising exhibition for Ya.Oyunchimeg, who was diagnosed with cancer last year, is on view at Marshall Art Gallery, located in King Tower-116 in Marshall Town, until February 10.

Ya.Oyunchimeg graduated from the Institute of Arts, Sculpture and Architecture at the Ilya Repin St.Petersburg State Academic Institute of Fine Arts in 1977. She has taught at the School of Fine Arts at the Mongolian State University of Arts and Culture for 32 years.

A State Merit Artist and professor,Ya.Oyunchimegis one of the most powerful representatives and defining figures of the Mongolian art community. The number of rave reviews for her work still increases every year. Her works have been exhibited in galleries in Italy, India, Germany, the U.S., and Japan, to name a few.

"I get my inspiration from nature.When I take a walk in the countryside, I just get the urge to paint these beautiful colors and inimitable moments," she smiled. The artist also noted that she has a love for feminine beauty.
