'Street criminal involved in sectarian' clash held.

KARACHI -- The Pakistan Rangers, Sindh, on Sunday claimed to have arrested an alleged street criminal, who also once actively took part in violent clashes between two religious groups in Landhi in which two persons were killed a few years ago.

The paramilitary force has established a special team when a video of a closed-circuit television camera footage about a robbery went viral on social meAdia, said the spokesperson for the paramilitary force.

Acting on the intelligence-based information, the Rangers conducted an action in Landhi and apprehended the suspect identified as Mohammed Ahmed.

During the initial probe, the suspect revealed that he had been involved in robberies and killings in the metropolis.

He also confessed that he had snatched a pistol from a security guard of a bank in Landhi during a robbery on January 31, 2019, in an incident which was recorded by a CCTV camera.
