Pasban Democratic Party Chairman Altaf Shakoor strongly condemning the growing incidents of misbehaviour of politicians with journalists, here Tuesday, demanded to stop this shameful political violence on media. In a statement here, he said misbehaviour and violence of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) leader Masroor Siyal with president of Karachi Press Club (KPC) and senior journalist Imtiaz Faran is just disgusting and shameful.

He asked Prime Minister Imran Khan to muzzle his unruly and rude party leaders who are a blemish on the face of democracy in Pakistan. These leaders on one hand are giving a bad name to the ruling party, he said, and on the other hand spreading political hooliganism to suppress and intimidate the free media in Pakistan.

Altaf Shakoor said the Pakistan Democratic Party expresses a complete solidarity with Imtiaz Faran and journalist fraternity and strongly demands a legal action against rude PTI leader Masroor Siyal. He reminded Imran Khan that this is not the first incident of hooliganism of PTI leaders, but a PTI leader Imran Ali Shah has already beaten up a citizen on a street of...
