Following is the text of press release issued by International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI)

A meeting of the Steering Committee for journals and publications was held under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Shuja Syed, Vice President (HS and R), International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI). The steering committee discussed various aspects such as reviewing and managing of the overall journals and publications. The committee also deliberated for launching of new journals and publications from IIUI banners, the sustainability in quality assurance of already existing IIUI journals and advancement of IIUI publications.

The chair gave directions to devise a policy for publications as well adding that valuable addition of the university publication would be the top priority. He said that data base of university journals will be established in liaison with ORIC and the faculties.
