SSP, SHO issued notices for failing to lodge FIR against fellow cops.

SANGHAR -- Additional Sessions Judge of Khipro Inayatullah Bhutto on Monday issued show-cause notices to SSP of Sanghar and SHO of Khipro over their failure to register an FIR against SSP, five inspectors and 20 other policemen on charges of staging a fake encounter and killing two `suspected` robbers on May 20.

The judge passed the order after relatives of encounter victims and citizens were denied registration of FIR as per court orders and they filed a contempt of court application against the respondents SSP Zeeshan Siddique, SHO of Khipro and DIG of Shaheed Benazirabad.
