SSGC lift Corporate T20 Cup.

KARACHI -- Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) rode on excellent knocks from Khushdil Shah and Ahmed Shehzad to clinch their maiden Corporate T20 Cup title with a clinical 41-run defeat of Omar Associates in the seventh edition's final late on Saturday night.

After being put into bat at a jam-packed DHA Sports Cub Moin Khan Academy, SSGC recovered from 16-3 all wickets taken by seamer Khurram Shehzad (3-30 in four overs) through Ahmed (67 off 37 balls, five sixes and four fours) and man-of-the-match Khushdil (61 off 30, five sixes and four fours) to post 206-6.

Aamir Yamin scored a vital 38 with his 23-ball unbeaten innings containing four fours and two sixes).

Omar Associates needed Umar Akmal to make a sizeable contribution but the Pakistan right-hander was dismissed for just four by a sensational two-handed diving catch by Khushdil inside the long-off region when he tried to hoist Sohail Khan (3-29) out of the ground.
