Special CSS exams.

THE government has decided to conduct special CSS examinations in November this year to fill a large number of vacant seats mostly reserved for Balochistan, rural Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. These seats were carried forward to the next year because candidates from these areas could not qualify.

The vacant seats create a management gap in various government departments. Thus making them functional is necessary.

The CSS examinations are held every year to recruit the bureaucrats of the future. In spite of offering lucrative positions with handsome incentives throughout their careers, the management of government departments is still not up to the mark.

Now that special CSS examinations are in the offing, the government needs to provide relaxation in rules so that new minds with fresh ideas can be recruited. Special rules...
