Speakers have paid glowing tribute to the invaluable services of great sage, philosopher, academic, scholar and SU founder vice chancellor Allama I.I. Kazi towards promotion of education in Sindh through establishment of University of Sindh campus at Jamshoro.

This the speakers stated at one-day seminar organized by The Bureau of Students Tutorial Guidance / Counselling Services and Co-curricular Activities (STAGS) as a part of week-long celebrations i.e. 'Founder's Week Celebrations April 9 (the day of birth and later coincidentally the day of Allama's joining as VC-SU) and April 13 (as the day of his demise) at Senate Hall of the vice chancellor secretariat.

The seminar was presided over by VC-SU Prof. Dr. Fateh Muhammad Burfat whereas; noted writer and Director Allama Ghulam Mustafa Qasmi Research Chair Dr. Kazi Khadim, eminent journalist Madad Ali Sindhi and renowned academic and Director Dr. N.A. Baloch Research Chair Dr. Tehmina Mufti were the speakers on the occasion.

VC-SU Dr. Burfat, in his presidential remarks, termed 19th century as a fertile epoch across Pakistan and abroad as, he maintained, it gave birth to illustrious personalities like Quid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Allama Muhammad Iqbal and Allama I.I. Kazi in Pakistan and George Bernard Shaw in Britain.
