Soyam, Muzammil advance at national tennis.

KARACHI -- Soyam Kumar dominated Rayan Ahmed 6-2, 6-3 while Muzammil Khan defeaAted Abdul Nafay 6-1, 6-2 in the boys U-18 singles second round of the Indus Pharma National SenAiors and Juniors Tennis ChamApionships here at the Karachi Club hardcourts on Monday.

Earlier in the boys U-14 singles first round, Ali Bachani from Hyderabad defeated Faiz Ilyas 5-4, 4-2. Ruhab Faisal also advanced as he beat Yahya Zain 4-2, 4-2 while Muzammil Khan won his match against Shehzer Ali 4-0, 4-0.

In the girls U-18 singles first round, Daliash Ashraf won her match against Zunaira Zahid with a score of 6-0, 6-0 while Eschelle Asif outclassed Eshal Zain 8-2.

The men's singles second round saw Baqir Ali beat Bilal Soomro 8-4, Vinod Das won against Taha Bande Ali 8-3, Omer Shahid defeated Sarib 8-0, Mustafa Tariq won his match with the same score and Zubair Raja downed Raahim Veqar 8-3.
