Smart lockdown imposed.

MALAKAND -- Deputy Commissioner Rehan Khattak has said that main purpose of the smart lockdown is to save healthy people from coronavirus pandemic.

During a visit to the locked down localities Khar and Dheri Jolgram in Batkhela on Thursday, he asked Levies Force to strictly follow all the standing operating procedures (SOPs) and deny entry of all outsiders and tourists to the notified areas.

The deputy commissioner reviewed deployment of Levies Force personnel in the areas under lockdown and directed them to keep check on the movement of people.

He said that smart lockdown of the areas identified by the health department would continue. He said that smart lockdown and implementation of SOPs could contain the spread of coronavirus contagion.
