ISLAMABAD -- Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Senator Sirajul Haq has questioned the shooting up of the flour prices to unprecedented level across the country if the government is true in its claim that the crisis is artificial.

The unavailability of the basic food commodity in all major cities, he said while talking to the parliamentary reporters after attending the Senate Session on Tuesday, was another proof of government mismanagement and lack of planning.

'The masses are the ultimate victims of this overall mess. Issues of inflation, unemployment and poverty grip the country badly.'
