Sindh Information Deptt is working on computerization of advertisements, payment: Narejo.

KARACHI -- The meeting of Sindh Committee of the APNS was held on November 06, 2019 wherein Mr. Ahmed Bakhsh Narejo, Secretary Information, Government of Sindh informed the members that efforts are being made to implement the advertising policy of the provincial government to ensure transparency in the release of government advertisements and due share and protection to smaller and regular publications. In this respect, the Sindh Information Department is working on automation and computerization of the release of advertisements, billing and payment process. He agreed to the suggestion of Sindh Committee members that the liabilities of payment of budgeted accounts as well as short payments will be cleared in three months.

The members suggested that the release of advertisements to combined publications be stopped so that other genuine publications could be accommodated.
