Sindh Government established 115 heat stroke centers in the separate districts of Karachi Division.

KARACHI -- Sindh Government on Monday established 115 Heat Stroke centers in different parts of Karachi division. The District Administrations and Sindh Health Department have prepared a 'HEAT WAVE EMERGENCY CONTINGENCY PLAN -2019'. In a statement issued here on Monday the spokesperson to Sindh government stated that the provincial government has prepared a contingency plan as per advisory issued by the Met Department. Keeping in view the duration of Expected Heat Wave period 29-04-2019 to 03-5-2019 (which may be extendable as per situation) the provincial government has set up 185 cold water-Sabeel points, 112 relief camps/tertiary hospitals in all district of Karachi Division. 28 mobile teams have also been setup for emergency in south and Korangi districts.
