Bahawalpur: A memorandum of understanding signed between the Islamia University of Bahawalpur and Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan. The MoU was signed by Vice Chancellor the Islamia University of Bahawalpur Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob and Chief Executive Officer Drug Regulatory Authority Pakistan Asim Rauf. Pro Vice Chancellor and Dean Faculty of Pharmacy Prof. Dr. Naveed Akhtar was also present on this occasion. According to the agreement the Islamia University of Bahawalpur will provide more opportunities for improvement in Drug Regulatory Authority Pakistan.

Both institutions will carry out joint educational and research projects. Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan and the Islamia University of Bahawalpur will cooperate with each other in clinical and scientific discussions, conferences and special steps will be taken to improve pharmaceutical regulatory services.
