Sheikh Rashid recovering fast: nephew.
RAWALPINDI -- Awami Muslim League (AML) President and Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rashid Ahmed, who tested positive for Covid-19 on June 8, is feeling well and recovering fast, said Parliamentary Secretary Ministry of Narcotics Control Sheikh Rashid Shafique on Sunday.
Talking to Dawn, the PTI MNA, who is nephew of the federal minister, said Sheikh Rashid was taken to the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) for medical checkup on Saturday night and his condition was stable.
He said rumours about his deteriorating health condition were wrong. The minister had gone to the hospital for a medical checkup where doctors advised him to stay in the hospital for a few days.
